Encampment and Advanced Cadre applicants must have graduated from a leadership school at the wing, region, or national level. (Examples: LDC, RCLS, or COS)

Support Cadre applicants must have graduated basic encampment and it is preferred (but not required) to have graduated from a leadership school.

The application deadline is 11:59pm Sunday, December 15, 2024.

Virtual interviews will be conducted between January 4th, 2025 and January 12th, 2025. The Echelon Team will communicate staffing decisions by February 1st, 2025.

Please note that, to align with the Encampment Guide, titles and roles have slightly changed. This will benefit the wing and CTS long-term. A basic encampment student will have the opportunity to experience a fully functioning line staff structure, as described in the Cadet Staff Handbook (CAPP 60-31).

On behalf of the 2025 Pennsylvania Wing Cadet Training Schools Command team, it is our honor and pleasure to announce that Cadet Lt Col Ellabay Perry will be our Cadet Wing Commander for the 2025 school. C/Lt Col Perry brings a wealth of experience in leadership roles in Civil Air Patrol at Wing, Group, and Squadron level as well as working closely with members of her community and local Chamber of Commerce. She is a sophomore at Liberty University studying to achieve a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education with minors in Physics and Psychology. She also attended NY Wing Flight Academy and is pursuing her private pilot's license with plans to become a CFI and share her passion for flying with others. C/Lt Col Perry is dedicated to the life-changing experience CTS provides and looks forward to giving back to the program.

She will be contacting her echelon level cadre to offer positions personally over the next week or so. To everyone who plans to staff as cadet cadre for 2025, watch your email for your opportunity to apply.

We look forward to working with C/Lt Col Perry and her incoming Echelon Command team and cadre for the 2025 school.

CTS graduation will be held at 11 am this Sunday, June 23, 2024, at Strickler Field, Fort Indiantown Gap. Please arrive no earlier than 10 and have your windows tag to enter the base. Seating will be limited so we suggest bringing seating, shade, hydration, and sunscreen. The presentation is typically less than an hour. We respectfully request that no pets be brought to the field. Students will be released to families directly after the presentation.

Leadership Development Course Cadets are spending the morning at Gettysburg learning about leadership through the lens of our American History.

The heat of the day didn't stop TD 02 from being a successful day! Basic Encampment went to the Leadership Reaction Course, spent time in classroom and practiced drill. Color Guard Academy visited the capital building. STEM tested their bridge challenges and raced their robots.

C/Capt Blosnick will be serving as this year's CTS Advance Group Commander. He is looking forward to teaching a new class of students about leadership.
