The basketball and cheer rosters are posted at the front window of Parent Central at 2295 S. 12th Street or on the front of CYS Sports at 6398 Garcia Blvd. If your childโ€™s not listed on a roster, it maybe because CYS doesnโ€™t have a copy of your most recent sports physical. JBLM is one of two locations to pilot a new position with CYS! This is a regular full-time position responsible for supporting the development and implementation of CYS inclusion and behavior support processes. If you're passionate and dedicated to the needs of military children and families, apply to be a Special Needs Inclusion Coordinator at Joint Base Lewis-McChord!

Here's a bit about the job's responsibilities:
โ€ข Promote, model, coach and mentor CYS professionals on inclusion topics in their classroom or activity area settings.
โ€ข Support the Special Needs Program Manager in monitoring and implementing inclusive programs for CYS classrooms.
โ€ข Coach CYS professionals on observing youth development and individual needs, effective communication with families and how to enhance their classroom environment and curriculum to promote inclusion and meet diverse learners' needs.
โ€ข Serve as a core member of the installation Inclusion Action Team (IAT)/Multidisciplinary Inclusion Action Team (MIAT).
โ€ข Ensures program and specialized services staff work together to embed services in natural environments and daily routines.

Enrollment for CYS Baseball and Lil' Batters is open through Thursday, June 13! These are summer seasonal sports, which last from late June through early to mid-August. Youth Baseball is available for youth ages 5โ€“15. Choose from T-Ball, Coach Pitch or Baseball enrollment options based on your child's age range. Lil' Batters is a practice-only opportunity (no games) available for children ages 3โ€“4. Participants must be fully enrolled with CYS.

We are looking for additional volunteer coaches for Youth Flag Football. Athletes range in age from 9โ€“11. Ideally, we need coaches available on these days and times:
โ€ข 5 p.m. Monday / Wednesday
โ€ข 6 p.m. Tuesday / Thursday
Potential volunteers interested in becoming a youth sports coach should call 253-967-2405. This will allow more children from our current waitlist to participate in the flag football league season.
