Heads up, travelers! Starting May 7, 2025, you’ll need a REAL ID or another approved form of identification (like a passport) to fly domestically within the U.S. If you haven’t upgraded your driver’s license yet, now’s the time to check if your state offers the REAL ID and what you’ll need to bring when applying.

If you’re not on the Disney Dining Plan, aren’t a big eater, or don’t like to share, why pay for food you’ll barely finish? Order a kids’ meal! At least look at the options because they are way easier on your wallet, typically healthier, and surprisingly good.

Talk about a win-win-win: you save money, don’t feel overstuffed, and won’t feel guilty snacking around “the World.”

Disneyland has announced that its 2025 packages are available to book 🎉, and you really need to take a close look at the new Pixar Place Hotel! If you’re a fan of Pixar movies (and really, who isn’t), you’ll have a ball discovering all of the details and Easter eggs from the moment you step into the lobby. You may even run into a few characters during your stay!

One of the standout features of the Pixar Place Hotel is its dedicated walkway straight into Disney California Adventure Park 🌟. You can literally stroll from your hotel room into the heart of the park, making it incredibly convenient to get to Radiator Springs Racers first!

Pro Tip: Even if you aren’t staying at a resort on the Skyliner route, you can STILL ride it! 🚡 In fact, I urge you to make an excuse to ride it! Whether you take a park break to grab a bite to eat at a new-to-you resort or even just ride for the views, it’s a ride you must take at least once. My favorite way to ride is a trip to Disney’s Riviera Resort for a quick service meal at Primo Piatto. The ride is relaxing, and the resort is breathtaking, so go explore! Where do you like to take the Skyliner? 🚡

Guests staying at a Skyliner resort will have the best access to EPCOT! They can enter EPCOT through the International Gateway in World Showcase and easily get a jump start on Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. This allows them to avoid the crowds coming from the front of the park. Where will you head first with your special entrance?

This is no simple attraction overlay; it’s a full-blown Haunted Mansion takeover at Disneyland! Oogie Boogie, Sally, and the rest of the gang have joined Jack in taking over every inch of the mansion, turning it into a love letter to fans of The Nightmare Before Christmas. Everywhere you look, Halloween meets Christmas in the wonderful, weird way only Tim Burton could conjure up during the Haunted Mansion Holiday! 🕸️🎃

WHAT’S THIS?! 😲 There is only one way to ride the Halloween themed Haunted Mansion: via a Virtual Queue. You can’t just stand in line; you need to secure a spot via the Disneyland app, and there are different rules for joining based on your park pass reservation. Yes, Disneyland still requires park pass reservations! 🗓️ I’ll help you plan and prep when you’re ready. No worries!

Sure, your Disney+ library is wall-to-wall with Marvel films, but in Orlando, Universal’s Islands of Adventure is where Marvel reigns supreme! Did you know you can dine with superheroes like Captain America, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Cyclops, Storm, and Rogue? 🍽️ You can battle Doctor Doom, help Spidey round up the baddies on some awesome attractions, and then take a breather by checking out some authentic and sometimes hard-to-find comics in a real comic book store 📚. (Straight out of childhood, right? 😍) Where would you head to first?

Even if you aren’t a fan, it’s hard not to see that we all live in a superhero era and have been for some time now. Stan Lee brought the Avengers team back to the forefront of modern cinema, but Marvel’s magic has been around for decades. Universal Orlando grabbed that contract early on and has an iron fist on Orlando's superhero theme park magic. Universal park-goers love hanging with their superhero pals and screaming their heads off on the Hulk. But I'd love to hear from Walt Disney World loyalists: which superhero do you wish had a spot and attraction in WDW, and who would it be?

Disneyland is raising the bar again with its latest breakfast offering: the Waffle Cristo. A unique twist on the classic Monte Cristo sandwich, this crispy stuffed waffle has quickly become a must-try, leaving East Coast visitors wishing they could grab a bite. Is it breakfast? Brunch? Or is it just the most creative snack Disneyland has come up with?

Imagine all the savory flavors of a Monte Cristo tucked inside a crispy and soft waffle—it’s the kind of dish that makes Disney dining dreams come true.

Let’s talk about tipping during a stay at a Disney resort. The housekeeping team, Mousekeeping, works hard to maintain that magical Disney experience in your room, from carefully fluffed pillows to fun towel animals. While tipping is optional, here are a few guidelines to consider:

Tipping $1 to $2 per person per night is generally recommended. If you feel your Mousekeeper went above and beyond, adding a little extra is a nice gesture.

Tipping daily is ideal since the housekeeping staff may change throughout your stay. Leave your tip on the nightstand or bathroom counter with a note labeled “Mousekeeping” to ensure they know it’s for them.

Mousekeeping often adds thoughtful touches, whether it’s arranging kids’ toys in a fun way or providing extra amenities. A tip is a great way to acknowledge their efforts and show appreciation for those small details that make a Disney stay truly special.

There is NO WAY to fully teach you all there is to know about Lightning Lane Multi Pass in a single post ⚡, but here are TWO THINGS that you CAN’T DO with it that you USED TO BE ABLE TO with Disney Genie+ 🧞‍♂️.

Multi Passes are only available to book for attractions 🎢. No more parade viewing 🎉 and no more character meet and greets 👑. While those were never the best use of a Lightning Lane entry, for some, seeing/meeting characters and princesses is a top priority ✨.

Castaway Cay has no shortage of activities 🌴, so many that you may find yourself shopping for a sailing where you can visit Castaway TWICE! 🚢 Whether you want to rest your eyes on a hammock at the adults-only beach, Serenity Bay 🏖️, create an ice cream cookie sandwich at Cookie’s BBQ 🍪🍦, or plummet into the crystal-clear blue waters from Pelican Plunge 🌊—you will never be bored! What does your perfect Castaway Cay day look like? 🤔

With so much attention focused on Disney Cruise Line’s newest private island 🏝️, I feel like it was time to shout out the OG island, and in many's opinion, the better...CASTAWAY CAY! 🌟 There is no detail missed at Castaway Cay: fun for the kids, shady relaxation for the adults, bikes and water sports for the active 🏄‍♂️, games and splash areas for the littles 🎮💦, and island-specific merchandise to commemorate everyone’s stay 🛍️.

Whether taking in the sights on the Kilimanjaro Safaris or booking exclusive behind-the-scenes tours, Animal Kingdom offers a chance to experience elephants and rhinos in the wild! The Kilimanjaro Safaris is included with your theme park admission to Animal Kingdom, which is excellent, but you’re not guaranteed to see any animals. If your elephant or rhino loving heart is set on seeing them, consider booking a tour.

The Caring for Giants tour offers an up-close encounter with the elephants, where you’ll learn all about their care and conservation from the experts who know them best. And for rhino lovers, the Up Close with Rhinos tour is a must-do, offering a rare chance to see a side of these gentle giants most won’t ever get the chance to. Both are reasonably priced, won’t eat up too much time and will deepen your appreciation for these animals and their conservation care teams.

Exciting news from the Magic Kingdom! The Country Bears have recently undergone a refurbishment, but fortunately, they’ve kept their charm intact. Instead of major changes, they’ve received a delightful musical update, incorporating beloved Disney movie tunes with a country twist.

As a longstanding attraction, the Country Bears hold a special place in many hearts. This refresh invites us to consider: was this an opportunity for innovation, or are you pleased to see the Bears continue their legacy with familiar melodies? I’d love to hear your thoughts on the new show! Nothing major; the music was retooled to bring in some family-friendly Disney tunes that everyone can sing along with. However, it begs the
question: Did you feel like this was a good opportunity to create something new in that space, or are you happy the Bears get to sing another day?

PRO TIP: Space 220 can be a TOUGH reservation to get. However, I book advanced dining reservations for all my guests, so first and foremost, let me handle that for you. Second, I have two ways to approach this super fun restaurant for reservations. We can reserve either the main dining area or the lounge, where you can order many of the same out-of-this-world dishes. Who has experienced dining in outer space? What did you think?

I give Space 220 two very enthusiastic space thumbs up! Typically, a restaurant that is themed in SUCH a unique and cool way gives up quality and taste in favor of the theming wow factor, but this is NOT the case at Space 220. Although pricey, this multi-course meal might be one of your Disney favorites of all time. With the price tag, it isn’t an every trip kind of hot spot, but definitely worth a try. Anyone else pleasantly surprised by their trip to space?
