The beautiful Fort Myers beach is being rebuilt.

When you put the combination of this 7 mile barrier island, the 100% gulf front views, the soft white sand, amenities, restaurants, bars, live music and weather, there’s no other place like it in America.

Well it’s been a long time since I’ve posted but the best guess for when we we will be up and running again appears to be around August or September 2024.

The months of October and November are incredible months to enjoy the beach.
The beach is looking good and more and more people are coming back to the island with the recent opening of Margaritaville.

The property is currently spoken for the months of December 2024 - March 2025 but we are creating a waiting list because no final bookings have occurred that far out.

We can’t wait to get back to this special island to enjoy these breathtaking sunsets again.

Haven't posted in a long time. Hurricane Ian recovery still continues as our association deals with insurance claims and making the building habitable again. Pool improvements, elevator replacement, sand replenishing on the beach as well as electrical and plumbing hookups are just a few of the repairs still needed. Our unit has remained dry as a bone with dehumidifiers running since the hurricane. It's like a time capsule and looks much like the way we left it. Looking forward to the day we and others can enjoy this incredible piece of tranquility.

The reconstruction is ramped up. Our wonderful building took some hard hits with 16 plus foot surges but remains structurally solid. We are so relieved. This property has brought so many memories to so many people and will once again. Too early to predict occupancy but we will keep you posted. If you want to donate to a good cause, check out SW Florida Relief in Facebook or volunteering at Broadway Community Church in Fort Myers. Pastor Chuck is amazing and has an incredible mission helping so many on Fort Myers Beach and SW Florida.

So many residents of Fort Myers Beach are allowed back on the island today for the first time since Hurricane Island.
They are becoming heart broken and in shock of the devastation.
We can’t wait for the day that the island will be the amazing paradise it was.
It’s a great community and the people are not only long time residents but many from across the country. We are looking for ways to help those in need and have created a SW Florida Relief page as well as the website

It is so sad what has happened to our beautiful paradise, Fort Myers Beach. There is still recovery going on the island and our hearts and prayers go out to all those families still missing their loved ones, the residents of Fort Myers Beach that have lost their primary residents and all those that have lost their businesses and jobs. Shamron Beach Condominiums are still being evaluated and the island hasn’t been open to residents at this time. Maybe not for another week. Here’s an arial view of Shamron Beach Condominiums building. The roof looks better than most but there is a lot of damage on the ground, parts of the roof and the second floor units. The building currently has no water or electricity and it could take weeks to obtain electric. The beach is still there and hoping for better news on the island as Fort Myers Beach begins to rebuild.
