GOOD RIDDANCE! 🌀 The deadly and destructive 2024 Hurricane Season officially ends today with 18 Storms, 11 Hurricanes, 5 Major Hurricanes and 2 Category Five Hurricanes (Beryl & Milton). Preliminary estimates indicate this is the 2nd-costliest Atlantic Hurricane Season on record, with potentially over $200 Billion in damages and economic losses.

The state of Florida was impacted by 3 hurricane landfalls and surge events from Debby, Helene and Milton. After producing saltwater flooding along the Florida Gulf Coast, Helene went on to produce catastrophic and historic freshwater flooding across parts of the Carolinas. The storm destroyed countless homes and infrastructure while also cutting off power, transportation, and communications to many towns in western North Carolina for weeks.

Just a few weeks after Helene, Milton quickly intensified into one of the strongest Gulf hurricanes ever recorded. Before its landfall, the storm produced 46 tornadoes across Florida, including multiple strong twisters. It was the deadliest tornado outbreak for the state in over 25 years. As the hurricane pushed onshore in Siesta Key, it brought a significant life-threatening storm surge on the southern side into Southwest Florida. Near and north of the eye, winds gusts over 100 mph were reported from Sarasota to Tampa Bay.

All of February is available. We are pushing for a Feb 1st opening date.

March 1st to 8th

March 15th to 22nd

All of April is open also.

$400 nightly rate plus tax and cleaning fee through April 26th.

Rates go down after Easter.

Please message us and we will get you locked in with our vacation manager before our unit goes live around the holidays.

Picked out our dining table. It's a live edge table from Costa Rica 🇨🇷 sourced from a company we used before in Tarpon Springs, Florida. Table will sit a total of 6 people. In the next 2 weeks, we will have everything furnished and the look will be luxury coastal chic. Stay tuned!

Those palm trees sure do take a beating after a 🌀 yet look so majestic and tropical afterwards. We are working quickly to clean up the property, get full power, order new lower level AC's and make necessary repairs.

The back end of the storm we had little to no rain but the winds picked up. Can't get on the island until emergency services allows us on. Reports of lots of sand, debri and contractors dumpsters on Estero blvd..Hopefully we can assess what flood damage took place, get things cleaned up and get back to rebuilding. Lets hope we are done with 🌀
