Been at the site all week..

Eight other unit owners and myself rented telehandler lift and hired a crew to get furniture and appliances up to our specified units..

Curbing is being formed today and will be poured on Saturday.

Paving crew is back at work installing pavers..

Lobby glass install will be completed by next Friday.

Still waiting on insurance adjuster to give the okay to demo those two small rooms at beach level and rebuild. That shouldn't slow us down as that total process should only take 4 weeks.

Power panel should arrive in a few weeks an estimations are one to two weeks to install.

Pool people will be out November 18th installing coping along the pool and new tile.
Waiting on their call back for new pool equipment and heater quote (Milton took out our brand new equipment).

We're hoping to have power back on and AC's running on or around December 20th..

By the next trip down on November 19th, our unit should be 100% done (remaining countertops, pull handles on cabinets and drawers, custom closets in both bedrooms)

On our November 19th trip, we will hang TVs and get everything else put away - and go shop to restock the entire kitchen with utensils, blenders, plates, glasses, etc..

Furniture and appliances delivered!

For those of you who who voted - sleeper sofa and 2 lazy boy recliners won out!

Sand clean up coming along..
AC condensers will be removed monday. New condensers have already arrived.

Power panel po was Sent. 6 week delivery and 2 weeks to install.

The two rooms that need to be demolished at beach level will hopefully be demolished in the next week.
New slabs will be poured and new concrete block will then be late..
4 to 6 weeks for that portion of the project to be done

Well hopefully have power back by Christmas.

Interior of unit is coming along nicely..
Countertop fabricator was there measuring this week..
Trim and doors should be painted by end of next week.
Countertops should be installed the week after.

Furniture and appliances on track to be delivered the week of November 4th.

Newly done pavers still intact

Beach level AC units wiped out
Fence pretty much taken out

Approximately 28 in of water in the electrical room.

The crack looks to be stucco separating on the block. Slap some stucco in, paint it and it's good as new

It's structure damage and that room has to be rebuilt

Will know more on that room next week
Luckily that room is standalone and is built with breakaway walls.

The owner who took these pictures and sent them talked to the job supervisor. Sounds like roof is fully intact and all AC units on roof are still there.

They went into all units that they had keys for and every unit was dry

Overall, I think we did pretty dang good All things considered.

Let's hope our electrician can dry out those panels.
I'm sure they'll be more to come.

First pics just starting to trickle in..

Of course, lots of sand..

Vinyl pool fence seems to have lost a lot of panels..

Some of the AC stands are gone and those ACS are laying in the lot.

FPL transformer seems to have shifted..
Hopefully the wires are still hooked into our electrical box.

As soon as they open island, we will get our job supervisors in there. They will then rip off plywood And unseal electrical room doors.

That's the big question. How much water was in the electrical rooms...

As soon as I get more pics or get any more info, I will post back.

Sounds like water is receding from Estero boulevard!

Ed posted the above about 20 minutes ago. A few of the comments were people saying yes, water is receding fairly quickly

Let's hope the trend continues.

Hopefully we will get pictures first thing tomorrow morning of the site.

At 11:53 a.m., our surge camera unfortunately locked up.
Last communication from camera was at 11:53 a.m. this morning.. unfortunately without being on site, we cannot remotely reboot it.

So sorry everyone. Still hoping it comes back online but when it says processing for hours and hours, it's locked.

Manufacturer of the camera even tried to push an update to it. Doesn't look like that worked..

If we hear or see anything, we will post back to the page.
