Lanai ceiling stucco work is on going. Bracing on the first floor beams is continuing.

Front door jams are being prepped and doors are being installed.

Insulation has started to be installed. Fire foam is being sprayed around pipes. Progress continues!

Drywall delivery has begun and is being placed on the 6th floor, ready for installation. Unit 103 ‘the Managers Office’ had its floor braced with new beams.

Many crews are working this week. Stucco prep is being completed around the new windows and lanai screens are being replaced.

Work continues on first floor bracing and prep for concrete. The air handler closets are being framed and prepped. Unit front doors arrived. Progress continues!

Lanai screens are being replaced and recessed lighting is bringing installed in the kitchens and hallways.

Finishing touches on the exterior stucco work. The exterior will be repainted in the near future, ready to welcome us back ‘home’.

Busy day today! Floor braces are in 106 and 107. Recessed lighting is being installed in the kitchens and hallway. Lanai rescreening has begun. More concrete repair was done on the north side of the building.

Work continues with electrical crews, plumbing crews and window crews. Wires are being pulled in the units and boxes connected, we will be ready whenever we get electricity! The new sliders look great and have been checked for any gaps and filled with concrete for reinforcement. The plumbing crews are working on shower drains and pipes.

It’s window and door week at ITR! Final finishes to the new windows, the stairwell doors are being installed and trim and finishing touches are going on the lanai sliders.

Roof vents were delivered. The plumbing crew continue working on the showers and drains, ensuring everything is up to code. Crews are cleaning under the building and removing all the sand that TS Debby deposited.

Tropical Storm Debby left a lot of stinky debris on the beach. Clean up crews did a great job.

Today the lanai forms were removed and all damaged/missing lanais have been replaced! Step by step we are moving forward. Thank you for your continued support and words of encouragement, together we WILL get back ‘home’.

The resort had no damage from tropical storm Debby. We did have a lot of sand end up under the building and on the pool deck. Old San Carlos and Time Square as well as the Margaritaville area had flooding which receded quickly.

Final lanai prep continues, plumbers are installing drain lines and electricians are redoing old wires. Each step gets us closer!

Final prep is being done on the last two lanais. Six units have had their sliders installed. Progress continues!

We have some new windows!!! Progress continues! If the weather co-operates more lanais will be poured tomorrow😎

Window sill prep and insulation is being completed, windows are on site ready to be installed. The lanai preparation continues. There are 4 lanais that have been poured-2 on first floor and 2 on the second floor. Once the remaining lanai prep is inspected, and the weather cooperates, the remaining lanais will be poured. Cool Air is running lines from the condensers to the junction boxes. The sewer and water lines have been removed and replaced. The main water line has also been replaced under the building. Progress continues!

A lot of activity involving different crews at the resort this week. Windows have arrived and are starting to be installed, lanai prep work is continuing and upper floor bathtubs are being removed.

Progress continues! New lines are being installed with the plumbing crew working hard underneath the building. Cool Air was on site pressure testing the AC lines.

11/14 update. JR Shaw was on the island today and provided this short video showing ITR cleaned, fenced and ready for the next step. This is a basic cleaning of the front surface to allow access for workers, dumpsters and small equipment as the main clean up commences. We are in a holding pattern at the moment waiting for contracts to be finalized for phase 1 to begin. As soon as we have new information it will be posted here. Thank you, we see and hear your messages and it continues to give us strength as we move slowly through this process.

10/28 update…one of the first things we needed to do is provide a clean and safe working environment. Our staff along with reinforcements from other RAL employees have been at ITR clearing debris and sand since Wednesday. They are using one driveway for debris and the other putting sand, the sand is picked up and taken to a site where it is sifted and placed back on the beach to help renourish it. Here is a short video to show a bit of the progress.
