Everyday we are receiving deliveries, unpacking, unboxing and placing in the units. Everything hasn’t been placed where it belongs yet but to give you an idea of the work our Island Towers staff of Cyndi, Dave and Garry are doing.

Dear ITR Owners

Here is an update based on what we learned during our meeting with Claremont on 3/3/25.

Our power has been restored. It’s one of the big steps that was needed for us to be able to open. There are still a few more big steps to go as explained below.

All the final equipment for the elevator is supposed to arrive this week. It will take 2 – 3 weeks to complete the work on the elevator once the final work begins. The inspections needed to reopen are underway. A final inspection of the elevator is required after all of the work on the elevator is finished. Once we have passed all of the inspections we will be given a certificate of occupancy.

There are several smaller projects that still need to be completed. Not all of these items need to be completed in order to us to open so some work will continue to be done after our reopening. Every effort will be made to minimize disruptions to the extent possible.

Once we know when the elevator is completed and operational, all inspections have been passed and we are given a certificate of occupancy we will be able to provide a firm opening date. We will immediately inform all owners via posts, email and, for those who will be the first groups to occupy the resort, by direct contact. We all want an opening date. The only option we have is to give you an opening date that we know will be for sure. We will continue to provide owners with additional information on a regular basis regarding the progress being made on the major items that still need to be completed in order for us to reopen. Thank you for your support, understanding and especially your patience!
