If Magic Wind Adventure Sailing wasn't already the greatest sailing charter in town, it just got better. You'll have 2 Captains aboard every sail. First Mate Dianne is no longer. Meet CAPTAIN DIANNE!
After a long hard fight over the summer with online captain's school, Dianne passed all the proctored exams, completed all the paperwork, and received her USCG Merchant Mariner OUPV license today.
My girl never took notice of her achievements prior to all this. She still doesn't realize she is a seasoned seafarer. She has been by my side for nearly every nautical mile since we were young. All the time logging "Sea Service Hours" on various size vessels. Part of the ship, part of the crew. She has more time at sea than most boaters out there. She's sailed in the Atlantic, the Caribbean, and the Gulf of Mexico. She's kept diligent watch in the middle of the night in the cold Atlantic while I slept, because she can be trusted to keep the crew and boat safe. She loves the sea. She's a Merchant Mariner. Congrats to the most amazing wife and co-captain a man can ask for.

Our Story

Dianne and I are high school sweethearts from Hinckley, Ohio who have been together over 25 years. We found a love for sailing in 2005 after putting a sail on our dusty canoe and watching some sailing videos from the library. Two sailboats later and Captain’s school, we purchased Magic Wind Adventure Sailing in 2009, sold the home we built together, and moved to Fort Myers, Florida with our cat Zoe... who by the way likes to sail also. RIP Zoe (2/18).

We worked quickly to make the business our own and establish a formula for sucess. The formula is simple. Give our customers the tools to find us, an amazing boat to sail aboard, an affordable price, and one hell of a good time while keeping safety our number one goal.
