If you are curious about how the Fort Myers and Fort Myers Beach area are doing after Ian? Here is an update. A couple pictures from Fort Myers Beach area.

🌴Most of Fort Myers is back up and running. Lots of homes still being repaired. You will see a lot of blue tarps on the roofs here.

🌴Fort Myers Beach has new businesses opening everyday. The outdoor restaurants are open and welcoming business.
-Wahoo Wi***es
-The Bar
-The Tiki Bar
-Yo Taco
-Yucatán
-several restaurants have food trucks popping up at the beach near Times Square as well.

🌴Beach update
-Fort Myers Beach is open. The water is probably not best to swim in and you should wear shoes because of all the broken glass in the sand.
-Delnor Wiggins is not likely to open until 2024
-Vanderbilt beach is open and so is the parking garage. The beach has porta potties
-Clam Pass is open and also has porta potties.
-BlueBill beach at the end of Delnor Wiggins is also open.

🌴Last recommendation is to pack your patience. There is a lot of traffic with all the workers and extra people in town to rebuild. A lot of families lost their homes so have grace.

We are excited to host the first guest of the winter season tomorrow. New sitting area out by the pool. Sad to be saying goodbye for now.

Good news. The house did really well during the hurricane and there is only very minor outside damage. We were so fortunate. Please pray for those who were not so lucky. My heart is so heavy for those families who lost their loved ones.
