In Africa it is traditional among many cultures for the woman to be subservient to the man. I know that's how my mother expected me to be. But much to her chagrin I would not allow myself to be dominated by any person, male or female.That['s probably why I like the following quote.

'A lioness is not submissive. She merely lets him be king for as long as it pleases her.'

We can learn so much about life by observing animals in their natural habitat. I took this photo in Zambia. These two were almost grown cubs.
