6/21/24 SUMMER PASSPORT 🐬🦈 How do you tell the difference between a shark’s dorsal fin and a dolphin’s dorsal fin? Do all dolphin’s dorsal fins look the same? Since a dolphin is a mammal and all mammals need to sleep, how does a dolphin stay in the water 24/7 and sleep? Are all dolphins found in the Indian River Lagoon the same color? These were only a sampling of questions that summer campers from SAVE OUR CHILDREN explored while on their Indian River Lagoon Wilderness Boat Tour. Thank you for being our guests. It was a beautiful day on the water.

6/20/24 SUMMER PASSPORT We were excited to have another group from Lincoln Park Community Center Summer Camp join us for a boat tour of the Indian River Lagoon & Estuary. To quote Forrest Gump, “Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.” It’s certainly relatable when you’re on the water. You never know what you’re going to find. Today’s campers were screaming with excitement when they saw dolphin break the surface of the water, over and over again. Of course, during the tour, they also saw anhinga, pelicans, egrets and blue herons—along with their chicks chirping to be fed.
