Did you hear? 👀 At the Dolphin Oasis grand opening, Gulfarium CEO Patrick Berry announced that our original 300,000-gallon habitat is being renovated to accommodate manatee rehabilitation patients, beginning in Fall 2024!

Between March and May the blue herons are building their nests, going through their mating rituals, and raising their newly hatched offspring. There is a heron rookery very close to this condo where you can see these large birds. When we were there in May of last year it was like a scene out of Jurassic Park with the birds squawking and flapping their wings in the tree tops. It is great fun to watch them. The rookery is located behind the go kart track at Adventureland on Okaloosa Island. Just park in the northeast corner of the convention center and walk through the black gate. It does not have a name that I am aware of but rules are posted on a sign next to the gate.
