After 4 months and 3 trips, and LOTS of unexpected replacements I think we have A424 where I am truly proud of it and excited to share it with our guests! It's got new floors, new paint, new bunk tvs, new fridge, new water heater, new dishes, new silverware, new linens, new mini arcade, new toys, new beach chairs, new beach wagon, updated dining area lighting, and new garbage disposal. It seemed everything I did, something new popped up, but we rolled with the punches and the finished product paid off.

A424 features 1 king bedroom, a bunk alcove, and a sofa bed to sleep up to 6 guests. This unit is perfect for single family trips, and families with younger children. Plus it's got a great view of the courtyard and ocean!

We're now booking for all of 2025 🩵

It's that time of year again... time to start thinking about beach service. The past 3 years we've done the platinum service that includes beach service AND daily paddleboard or kayak use. We'll definitely do beach service, but is the SUP/ kayak an amenity our guests use? Should we spend this money on something else? Does including this extra amenity factor in to your booking plans? Thanks for the feedback y'all!

Happy small business Saturday from a very cold Nashville! For us, Escape to Waterscape is a family affair 365 days a year. (Even our 5 year old knows exactly how I face the remote and the magazines when we clean "little house" 🙈)

Another one of our new favorite vacation restaurants is Lost Pizza. At just 8 minutes from Waterscape in Ft Walton Beach, it's an easy drive for lunch or dinner so you can get back to the beach! They have a great variety of traditional pizzas, creative pizzas, and pastas. Even better, my kids actually ate it! Don't forget to check it out next time you stay with us at Escape to Waterscape!

Warning...emotional ramblings of an exhausted mother ahead.

It's been a heck of a 2 weeks. Every time I feel like I've got it together, boom, another hit. At some point it's bound to break.

Y'all nothing is always picture perfect (yes, even Waterscape 😉) Sometimes life is REALLY hard, but we always get through it with the help of our village. Thank you for my village always being there for me.

Most of us are moms here (what can I say, I know my target audience!) I guess what I'm trying to say is you're doing a great job. I'm doing a great job. I'm glad you're here.

This picture sums up my feelings on life right now, but I'm trying hard to be a curse word wrapped in a dainty princess glove. We've got this!

If you ever need a random ear to listen, feel free to reach out. Some of my best real life friends I met on social media, and some I chat with regularly I've never even met. We're all in this together ❤️

Guys. Look at this burger. This is our newest must eat every trip. Sax Grille is about a 5 min drive from Waterscape in FWB and is TOTALLY family owned and operated! We opted for the Smoked Cheddar Bacon Burger and the Reuben and split them because we couldn't decide on just one! This makes a great casual spot when you don't want to worry about Destin traffic. Even better take some time and explore all the great shops in downtown Ft Walton!
