Did you know that lionfish are not just stunning to look at but also one of the most invasive species in Florida? These spiny beauties have made their way into Destin's waters, and while they’re fascinating, they pose a big threat to our local marine ecosystem.

Lionfish are native to the Indo-Pacific, but thanks to accidental introductions, they’ve invaded the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico.
