MOVIES ON THE BEACH: Al's Beach Club & Burger Bar at The Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island is hosting a free Movie on the Beach night on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 8 p.m. The event will feature a screening of the fantasy musical film “Wonka” in celebration of National Candy Month.

Attendees are invited to gather on the sand with friends and family to enjoy the film on a giant inflatable screen. The restaurant encourages moviegoers to bring blankets and beach chairs for a cozy viewing experience under the stars.

Al’s Beach Club & Burger Bar will also be offering delicious milkshakes for purchase during the event.

“Wonka” is a prequel to the 1971 film adaptation of Roald Dahl’s novel, focusing on the rise of the famous and eccentric chocolatier W***y Wonka. The narrative follows Wonka’s journey from a young adult working as a chocolate seller in a store to his eventual success in the chocolate industry.

"Loved Gulf Dunes 401! Clean, well stocked and comfy beds. My only advice is the toaster needs to be replaced. Its burns everything unless you stand and look down in it the whole time so you can rescue your breakfast. Ha
