I have loaded up my calendar for all the best New Years Eve events…be sure to read the details as most events have many activities but fireworks times are specific. If you are looking for fireworks, here is a quick rundown:
At Waterscape, hit the beach for the 9pm show!
Harborwalk Village has fireworks shows at 8pm and midnight. (You can see these from the top of the parking garage also, and from my odd numbered units in the A building).
Baytowne Wharf has two DRONE SHOWS and if you have not seen a drone show, I have to say, I would not miss this! Drone shows are at 7:30pm and 11:30pm. Fireworks there are at midnight.
Lulu’s has a really fun “Balloon Drop” at NOON on New Years Eve. This is all about the kids! Fun times, waterfront dining, usually live music too!

Merry Christmas everybody!
It’s friYAY and I’m heading home to my family for the holidays. I have busted my butt all Fall, completing 5 remodels at Waterscape (one left in January), working tirelessly in the cottages, and keeping up with the annual maintenance, inventories, plus the regular business. It’s time for a much needed mental break.
I’ll see you in 2025 ready to grind!!!
Don’t forget to book your Spring and summer vacations. The flood gates open after Christmas and dates go fast.

Sunday night was the Destin Boat Parade, a favorite among locals. Some of my renters invited me on the tiki boat and this is one of my favorite things I have ever done here. Being on the water at night among the parade boats and Christmas lights just sang a new tune to my soul.
These pics made it to the cloud just before my phone dropped and bounced overboard. Oops! 😝

Here’s another great place for you to eat and hang out. The Edge is a restaurant on the Destin Harbor. The food is fantastic and the views are even better. For years this space sat unoccupied, but someone finally nailed it! You’ll never run out of things to do here. Come on down y’all!

Happy FriYAY everyone!
I am grateful today for the incredible team I have around me. Things are going right, and wrong, on the daily. We installed a dishwasher and when we peeled the front sticky off it ruined the finish. We had to unhook and return it only hours in front of the owners’ arrival and remodel reveal!

Every time I think we aren’t going to make it, my people say
YES WE ARE! And looky there.
HERE WE ARE! On time again. ❤️❤️

This stuff isn’t as easy as my page shows you.

I have a hot pink cottage!! Months ago you guys helped me choose colors and I’m getting there, finally.
The blue is the old color, and it was just a little boring. All my plans will come together in the end, but I still have a long way to go.

The Bay House is my dream come true and Saturday night I danced around the living room to jazzy Christmas music with the family watching and the cat in my arms, gazing across the bay towards the Destin skyline.
