So where did Ajbeta come from. I think my cousin Janet who is one of my cousins in flint coined it. Or it could have been one of my many brothers in. Beta theta pi at gmi now kettering university.
I became a pledge of beta in August 1983. I became a member in February of 1984. Thru beta I learned to ski, learned to sail learned a few French swear words and learned all about road trips. I've sang at a few weddings and helped serenade many beta wives and sweethearts.
The dragon picture below is from a statue at the beta administration office in Oxford Ohio. I think i have visited there over 3 dozen times in the nearly 40 years of Mt association.
My first visits was at the old hq on main Street my last time was just last August for our convention. Each time over the last 15 years I've looked at the 3 bricks in the walkway I purchased. One for dr James doc Huffman a former professor at gmi beta district chief and advisor from 1954 to 2002 . Another to David r Foust a former beta vice president and chapter president in 1964 and #1 on the chapters roll book. And one for myself a chapter advisor since 1989.
