As spooky season is upon us, one of our favorite locations to visit during Halloween month is the wonderfully spooky town of Salem, Massachusetts. It is here in 1692 (through 1693) that over 200 people (and 2 dogs) were accused of witchcraft. Thirty were found guilty and 19 were hung. Visting Salem during October brings you to one of the best Halloween parties ever known. You will be out of place not participating in dressing up as almost everyone is in costume. Visiting the Salem Witch Museum, the Witch Memorial, and participating in the festival are the top things to do. Happy haunting!
