Since we have been home, we’ve had many people reach out to ask us what our favorite part of the trip was. Although I’m not sure that a “kill” qualifies as a favorite, watching this was a memorable moment. We probably followed this lion for about 30 minutes, while he surveyed the herd of buffalo looking for one to attack.

This video was shot shortly after the attack, and it appeared that the buffalo might come after the lion. However, they did not, and the lion won.

Ended the DC leg of our vacation with a night tour of the monuments, an underground doughnut tour, and a “revolving” sushi joint in Chinatown. Lots of laughs and great memories. Nairobi, here we come! 🇰🇪 Victoria Boysen
