Welcome to the 2025 season! We hope all of of customers return for another great year aboard the Never Satisfied! The sportsman’s show is fast approaching, February 14th to be exact. The calendar is open and filling fast for the season. If you’re interested in a trip don’t hesitate to book now. We only hold dates with a deposit. Please reach out to lock in your date. Captains Dave and Joey are ready to fish.
We have availability for charters for the following dates. These are full day trips, bait tackle, rods, reels and ice included. Just pack a lunch and go fishing. The weather is looking great. If you forget to pack a lunch or want breakfast go see Betty at Higbee’s luncheonette. Higbee’s bait and tackle is also open if you need anything. We are docked at slip 33 Fortescue state marina. There’s still time to get out on the bay and catch some fish. Tip for the mate is not included in the trip price.

We had a group on today that had some nice fish. The youngest was the top fisherman today. This young fisherman caught the majority of the fish, we love to see young fisherman enjoying the bay. We thank you for fishing with us and we look forward to seeing you in the future.

The tide is currently rising, and with a **Full Moon** tonight, we’re expecting some strong tidal shifts and great fishing conditions! Here's how to make the most of your time out there:
# # # **Fishing Techniques for Today:**
1. **Early Morning Action:**
- **Target Species:** Striped Bass and Bluefish.
- **Technique:** Topwater lures like poppers and walking baits will be effective at first light around structure and shallow flats.
- **Tip:** Cast near the edges of drop-offs and reeling in with a steady retrieve will provoke those topwater strikes.
2. **Mid-Morning to Late Afternoon (High to Low Tide):**
- **Target Species:** Flounder.
- **Technique:** Drifting with live bait like minnows or squid strips on a fish-finder rig.
- **Tip:** Focus your efforts near channel edges and sandy patches where flounder like to ambush their prey. Ensure your bait is close to the bottom by adjusting your rig length.
3. **Afternoon into Evening (Low to High Tide):**
- **Target Species:** Weakfish.
