Do you have a favorite picture from last night’s Twilight session? We had some new photos taken of the outdoor lighting project. The 3 new soffit lights out front will help with safety and security for late night arrivals. And although the custom pool cage lighting is fantastic, we also wanted to add some more intimate sconces for a softer feel.

The pool cage lighting is controlled with an app on my phone. It is set to a default for “Cool Change” in turquoise, blue & white and is currently scheduled to be on from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. Colors and timing will change with the season, and special requests (or completely turned off) are certainly taken!

Currently, the sconces will automatically come on at dusk for up to 6 hours. Our guests will have control of the sconces from a wall panel near the pool sliding doors, just below the pool safety alarm. You can choose from White, Red, Blue or Green… and can even customize the shade within the color wheel! I love the Cyan and the Orange reminds me of a tiki light.

We are back at the villa for a few more days. Time to complete more “To-Do’s” around the house before our next guests arrive on Thursday! We are always working to exceed our guests expectations and earn those FIVE Star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Reviews!!

Sometimes it is all about the things our guests might NOT notice. When you book a villa, you expect that the photos match the listing when you arrive and find the home is clean and in good repair. As many of you know - that is NOT always the case- especially with homes managed by the large vacation rental companies with properties booked through a wholesale travel industry market and villa owners who do not visit their property often enough. And it is VITAL that owners continue to reinvest in their homes… it is unfortunate when vacation properties miss the mark yet have much potential!

I can assure you- as can the 100+ guests who have given us a Five Star Review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️- that you will find Cool Change Villa 7776 at Windsor Hills Resort even BETTER than our amazing photos (shout out to our awesome photographer, Tony, by the way)! There is much planning and preparation put in by me and our incredible property management team, Mario & Gaby, throughout the year. So in addition to the awesome lighting projects and other upgrades we’ve recently added this past month, there was a deep cleaning done, interior and exterior windows cleaned, dryer vents cleaned, seamless gutters with Leaf Guard installed today, driveway and sidewalks power washed, restocking of supplies and welcome gifts, various other maintenance and repairs as well as some tasks that will need to get pushed until a later date as our time here is dwindling.

I’m looking forward to our next guest arrival on Monday! Just a few days to finish up and then continue to share a few more things we’ve done!

Ever Thankful ~ This photo popped up in my Facebook memories today from 11/22/18. Our kids are now all young adults- the boys are 20 & 21 and our daughter and son-in-law (missed this trip as he was deployed with the Navy) just turned 30 this year. I will always treasure these moments- time passes by so quickly but the memories are magical and last for years!

Thank you to all of our guests and families who have stayed with us and also to so many of you who have supported us since we started this vacation rental adventure in February 2021! We have many more of you scheduled with us - both first time guests and those who have stayed with us multiple times now. “Our stay at Cool Change Villa was nothing short of magical, and we couldn’t have imagined a better two weeks! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such warmth and thoughtfulness that it set the tone for our entire trip. Waiting for us was a lovely assortment of welcome treats, adding an extra-special touch that made us feel right at home. The treats were just the beginning of the attentiveness and care shown by our wonderful host, who went above and beyond throughout our stay. Always available and eager to help, they ensured we had everything we needed and made us feel completely looked after.

The villa itself was absolutely stunning, with every detail carefully considered to provide the ultimate in comfort and relaxation. From the beautifully furnished rooms to the fully equipped kitchen and thoughtful amenities, we felt that everything we could possibly need was at our fingertips. The attention to detail was remarkable, making us feel both spoiled and entirely at ease.

One of the standout features of the villa was undoubtedly the private pool. It was so inviting that we spent all our poolside hours right there, never even making it to the resort pool! It quickly became our own personal oasis, perfect for unwinding and enjoying the peace and privacy that Cool Change Villa offered.

Our time here was a holiday experience like no other, and our host played a huge part in making it feel so special. They were attentive without being intrusive, always ensuring that we felt cared for while respecting our space. This level of personal care, combined with the beauty and luxury of the villa, made this the best holiday we’ve ever had.

Leaving was truly bittersweet, and we can only hope that one day we’ll have the chance to return. Cool Change Villa, along with its incredible host, created memories we’ll cherish forever, and we’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an extraordinary, unforgettable escape.”
