Even during the week of a hurricane we have taken 2 new bookings for 2025! 🎉 Thank you for your support as always 🩷. If you are considering a stay with us don’t delay as the bookings have been coming through thick and fast this past month 😊

Also I wanted to share with you why time after time our guests comment on the attention to detail and cleanliness of our Florida home. It’s because both us and our management literally check every nook and cranny on inspection checks. Here are just a small selection of the detailed photos we receive every time guest check in and out……. And yes they do even check under the beds! ☀️

Firstly let me say thank you to all the past and future guests who have taken the time to reach out over the past couple of days. Apologies if there is anyone I didn’t get around to responding to. As you can imagine it’s been a lot of anxiety and worry for our guests and home.

I have been in contact with our current guests this morning and am happy to confirm that they are safe and well. We are lucky that even though millions are without power ours remains on.

We know in the light of day we have been EXTREMELY lucky when comparing our area to some others. The amount of tornado warnings last night were very concerning and seeing some of the damage caused to lives and property across the state is truly devastating.

Thank you to our neighbour for providing the is footage of the street and front of home 🙏

It isn’t long now until Hurricane Milton arrives in Florida 😢

Our hearts ache for all of those already so badly impacted by Hurricane Helene. Our villa has now been fully prepared and plans have been made with our current guests to extend their stay for as long as is needed.

Please keep Marceline Dreams Villa, all Floridians and those currently visiting the state in your prayers 🙏

We are of course keeping a close eye on the hurricane due to affect Florida mid week. We would highly recommend following Denis Phillips for updates, he has always been pretty accurate and reliable when it comes to anything weather related.

Our villa comes equipped with emergency lighting in case of loss of power and there are always torches with fresh batteries on hand. We are already in communication with the guests who will be there and our management team are on the ground already making plans for whatever will be needed support wise.

Fingers crossed it’s just a lot of wind and rain. We have weathered hurricanes before and other than the odd pool screen being lost and a wonky fence we have always stayed strong.

Of course our thoughts are with those who are now having to prepare along the Gulf coast before they have even finished repairing from Helene 🩷

MILTON 5 AM UPDATE | The newest track is in. No significant changes. Milton is slowly organizing with winds now at 50 mph. The track continues to show a landfall Wednesday along the Florida West Coast. Storm Surge Watches and Hurricane Watches are expected from the NHC later today. Updates all day today as we get them. Use today to get prepared!

Please, please, PLEASE bear the below in mind if you were planning on visiting one of our favourite beaches, Clearwater. This won't just be Clearwater and even as roads start to open it is going to take a while for the true beauty of the Gulf coast to shine through again.... but it will!

We are sending out our thoughts to those affected by Hurricane Helene 😥 Seeing some of the photos and videos coming in from the states affected and the Gulf coast is heartbreaking. Especially some of our favourites such as Anna Maria Island and Clearwater 💔

It’s going to take a while for these places to recover and we have some availability in the next few months to assist with anyone that may need to change their plans. We will of course discount our nightly rate as much as we can. Please feel free to reach out or share this post 🩷

We love what we do and we are always trying to improve and provide additions to our home from home to make all your stays the best they can be. 🥰 Some of our repeat guests may have noticed a change in property management. They like us are always coming up with ways to improve guest stays 🏡 ☀️

Lots of new additions to our villa will appear over time but for now we are happy to share that a fully stocked coffee and tea bar will greet all guests to get you started after that long travel day ✈️ ☕️

We now also have a digital welcome tablet with lots of handy information about the villa, recommendations for the area and a quick way to reach out to the team over there 😊

I hate to say the ‘C’ word so soon but it’s only 98 days until Christmas Day 🎄

Christmas comes even sooner over in Florida with the decorations and special events starting in November 🎅🏼

We may not be available for Christmas Day itself but we still have availability during November and early December so you could enjoy the Florida festivities with the perk of less crowds 🩷

We have enjoyed trips at this time of year ourselves a few times and can happily make plenty of recommendations 🥰
