It took a woman to ultimately define bourbon. Josephine Roche settled the straight whiskey debate on January 22,1936. As the acting Director of the Federal Alcohol Administration she added the requirement of aging 2 years in a new oak charred container to codes governing the labeling of straight whiskey.

Neat Kentucky Tours spent the morning at Glenn's Creek Distillery on the grounds walk with Dave tour.

I have literally been on hundreds of bourbon tours, and I can and will say, this was the coolest bourbon tour I have ever done.

It was a two hour experience. We walked the ruins of the original Old Crow Distillery and had a super relaxed and yummy tasting. I wish I took more photos.
