We also have a Friends of the Mill dinner this Thursday!

The Grist Mill is open this weekend. Both days 12-4PM. Stop in and enjoy our educational exhibits!

Happy World Water Day! Did you know that only 3 percent of the Earth’s water supply is freshwater, with only a half a percent of that available for our use! Thanks to the protection of places like Franklin Creek, we can make sure we are doing our part to not make that number any smaller!

SPRING!! 3 weeks 🌺

Spring! These snowdrops are a sure sign spring is around the corner. Snowdrops (Galanthus spp.) are not native to Franklin Creek and were likely planted by the early settlers of the area. They are a sure sign spring is on the way as they are always the first to bloom.

Happy Mother’s Day! We got a pretty consistent frost night before last and then 1.4” of much need rain last night and temperatures are to increase so things will really green up here in Franklin Creek. Spring has sprung!
