'Here's an important thing you should know. VV are very egalitarian, all the way from the crew, cast, Rockstars to regular Sailors. The captain will be wearing slacks and a polo shirt - you'll have a hard time telling him from any other crew member. The rest of the crew are fabulous - they get to be who they are. Tattoos? No problem. Piercings? No problem. Flamboyant? Again, no problem. This carries over into how they react to guests. Everyone, Rockstar and Sailor alike, are treated well, but in a genuine fashion. VV are not about pretentiousness - that something best left at the port. Sure Rockstars get some perks that we won't get: A bigger room, some free booze and access to one area of the ship (small) that other can't go. But other than that, you'll be eating the same food, sharing the same activities and shows, and all hanging out together. You'll have a great time!"
