The Samuel Justus trailhead is located directly across the river from our rental making it super easy to ride up or down. I was able to take a ride to Emelenton today and meet up with my father for a good ole' fashioned Otto's Tavern lunch.

Well Everyone, I have exciting news! The kayak house is now a short term rental AirBnB/VRBO property. I did a full house renovation with the help of a few dedicated friends over the course of the last 6 months. I am proud to say that is is open for business on Monday June 14th.

I am sure this comes as a shock to some of you that were not aware that I absorbed the Kayak business and decided to make the metamorphosis into a destination rental for Paddlers, peddlers & outdoor enthusiasts alike. I feel that our centric location to all sorts of trail systems and our on water access makes for the perfect adventure seeker home base.

I have filled the home with new higher end furnishings, all new premium beds and 4k tv's in every room. Coffee lovers will appreciate the three options of a thermal carafe drip machine, a stainless French press and a Nespresso machine. The house is designed to accommodate up to 3 couples, with three dedicated bedrooms, one with an en suite office/sitting room. For the tech focused individuals I covered the house with a full mesh Wi-Fi network so you never have weak signal anywhere in the home. There is a biometric/keypad lockset for keyless entry and a nest smart thermostat that can be controlled by the provided Amazon Fire HD tablet. Several Perception kayaks and Jamis pedal bikes are on hand for guests to use to travel the waterways and ride the trails or just uptown to visit farmers market.
