Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is a frightfully fun celebration offered select nights from August-October. The party is from 7:00 p.m. - midnight (you can enter the park at 4:00 p.m. with the party ticket)and a limited number of tickets are available for each night. The party has the Boo to You parade, Not So Spooky fireworks spectacular, the Hocus Pocus Villian Spectacular stage show, dance parties, special characters, and the best part- trick or treating in the park!! I went to the party on October 8th- Disney had already announced they would be closing at 2:00 the next day so the crowd for this party was very small. There were very short wait times for all rides & it didn’t rain at all! It was a great night!

Our day so far…the parks are closed today but the resort has a lot of activities for guests. We ate a late breakfast at Chef Mickey’s, the price was reduced from normal because there were no characters. Plenty of activities for kids and they are busy cleaning the pool areas.

We made through the night fine, the wind was insane! I slept with my earplugs in and never woke up. We never lost power. The wind and rain have stopped and I can only see branches and leaves down from our view.

The hotel staff has been incredible and so kind.

The parks are closed so we are in our room now after spending the morning at Magic Kingdom. Disney is taking very good care of guests and I feel safe.

Disney is closing at 2:00 this afternoon- only the third time in the park’s 53 year history they have closed early.

We spent the rest of the day at Epcot and we had several hours of no rain! The Food & Wine Festival is always fun.
