Meet Moochy. The six-month-old Labrador retriever mix was rescued from an overcrowded shelter where he was at risk of euthanasia by Hub City Humane Society in Mississippi.

The sweet puppy couldn’t control his excitement upon being rescued and started to hop around on his front feet. He was unable to use his hind legs due to a prior traumatic injury.

The shelter shared, “Moochy, who is overflowing with energy and joy like 5 month old puppies should be, but fizzles out when he gets too excited from the pain of his left femur being snapped off at the head. He wants so badly to play like other pups his age, but running normally is impossible and rolling around hurts immensely, so all he is able to do is bunny hop from one place to another and sit in the corner watching those around him play, hoping one day it won’t hurt so bad to be a puppy.”

Based on the X-ray of his hind legs, he needs an intense surgery...
