2025 Rate Adjustment‼️
I’ve tried to keep my rates the same even with all the inflation over the past few years but it’s now time to adjust pricing. I hate to raise pricing but as a business it’s necessary so that I’ll be able to stay in business for years to come. Those who are already on the calendar or have gift certificates will keep last year’s pricing. Thank you all for choosing me for your fishing adventure! As the only full time guide on Lake Palestine I promise to keep working my hardest for you! 🎣

2025 Trip Rates
1 person $400
2 person $500
3 person $600

Trip includes everything needed provided. Fish cleaned and bagged. Plus free drinks and ice. Basically all you have to do is show up ready to catch fish. Trips are guaranteed success or no payment.

I’ve been busy this holiday season enjoying family time and still fishing when the weather allows. Keeping up with social media has been the last thing on my to-do list so I’ll try to catch up with a photo dump of recent trips.

At 7:58am I get a text from the clients that were suppose to be there at 8am saying they were not going to be there. (That’s the fastest way to end up on my “do not book list” by the way). I’m siting in the boat ready to go at that point. It cost me a days work and the expenses of being there. But… when life gives you lemons kinda thing. I went out on the lake and tried to make it into something productive. I scouted for upcoming trips and caught my limit to bring home and feed the family. A little before and after pictures. When fresh crappie meet a cast-iron skillet something magical happens. It’s delicious! 😋

Days 1 and 2 were a success with these Houston guys. Al, Josh and his son Andrew. They joined me on the water for the coldest day of the year so far. The next day was raining but these guys were on a mission to catch fish. The fishing was hot and that kept us going.

I had Richard and Johnny on this trip. We bounced around the lake and fished multiple areas to make a mess of fish. After the fishing trip we went and ate lunch at Catch Me If You Can for a home cooked meal and good conversation.

Jeff and Zach loaded the boat with crappie no problem. With cooler temps the fishing is excellent and we don’t have to start bright and early. This time of year they bite all day long so I normally wait until about 9am to start when it warms up a little. Its cooling off but fishing is heating up.

Misty and her husband Neil slung a table full of slabs this holiday season. The fish didn’t stand a chance on this trip. They used 1/8oz Daddy O’S hand tie jigs to trick every crappie into biting and hit their limit in 3 hrs. This is my favorite time of year.

On this trip Mark Standridge and Efrem put the whooping on some lake Palestine crappie. We started at 8:30 and by 11am they had 50 in the cooler.
