We spent the past two days working on the yard and garden. Great temp to get the work done. Filling in ground hog holes with bricks and concrete. Hope it keeps the bu**er defeated so he turns tail and goes the other way down his tunnel. Time for mums. Found a special at Lowes. 5/$10 quart pots. Got a bunch. Just enough to get fall started with fresh flowers in nice planters. Had a huge load of mulch dumped in the back yard from the guys stump grinding the old elm tree in the park behind the house. Next, to rent a little front end loader, move some dirt, create new planting beds and move the mulch to the right locations. That will happen in late October because I am too busy until then. Have a great Indian Summer!

My Airbnb guests commented on how the ride from DC to FREDERICK yesterday was crazy. People driving like nuts. Either too fast and taking risks or going under the speed limit. The got off 270 at Gaithersburg and continued up 355 to Frederick. She said they needed a cocktail when they arrived because their nerves were wrecked. I agreed that our roadways were like visiting a Dukes of Hazard episode. The cops don't work because the Maryland legislature shut them down. So all Hell can break loose at any time on our highways. Anything goes. So if you're in agreement that the police should've been made personally liable for any of their actions this is your fault. Theres no push back so idiots can drive with abandon. And with all the uneducated unlicensed drivers we now have in the area its gonna get worse. Im getting a dash cam. Maybe a flame thrower too. Lol
