✨️Window shopping is fun, as many stores have unique displays, even after they close.

✨️Marktplatz – The town square is peaceful at night, great for a quiet break.

They are first and foremost a distillery and right now The Speakeasy serves as a specialty cocktail 🍸 laboratory so you can taste and enjoy spirits and 🍷wine.

✨️During late March and April, visitors from all over come to the Texas Hill Country to experience first hand one of the most beautiful experiences you can encounter in nature. You will never forget the beauty of a field blooming with Bluebonnets.

🔅As historian Jack Maguire so aptly wrote, "The Bluebonnet is to Texas what the Shamrock is to Ireland, the Cherry Blossom to Japan, the Lily to France, the Rose to England and the Tulip to Holland."

These days Luckenbach Texas is, to paraphrase John Steinbeck, a "State of Mind" 🤠 A Texas state of mind, where you can kick back, relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life -like a step back in time.

Luckenbach Texas also has a store on Main St. - on the corner of Lincoln and Main.

Garrison Brothers Distillery, located in Hye - only minutes from Fredericksburg, you'll find the home of the FIRST legal whiskey 🥃 distillery in Texas. GB Straight Bourbon Whiskey is hand-crafted and uses organic corn from from the Texas Panhandle, organic wheat grown in Hye and Hill Country rainwater that they harvest and purify themselves.

Definitely stay at Settler's Crossing Bed And Breakfast in the most beautiful surroundings.

Finally, a stop at Albert Ice House and Dance Hall which was built in 1922 by Max Beckman, and provided the community a place for Saturday night dances and social gatherings. It featured German brass bands rotating between the Luckenbach, Hye and Weinheimer Dance Halls of the time. 💃 🕺

Located just south of Highway 290, halfway between Fredericksburg and Johnson City, the tradition of community gatherings and dancing continues. They're always happy to see familiar faces or make a new friend, so stop on by and enjoy a little taste of Texas tradition and a cold 🍺 beer or cocktail 🍸 while you’re at it. There's live music most nights and the Icehouse is open everyday.
