Fall Colors are finally starting to pop. Perfect time for that open-cockpit biplane ride to get an aerial perspective. We will be visiting Shannon Airport and flying rides at the annual Harvest Festival on Saturday, Oct 28, but also have openings flying at Stafford Regional Airport many other days before we close our operation for the season on Oct 31. This Spring weather is providing us with some great flight opportunities. Flew a Recon Mission yesterday that treated us to a rare sight at the confluence of the Rapidan (on the right) and Rappahannock where one of the rivers is muddy and the other clear due to a localized heavy rainfall the night before. Here's a shot where the distinct waters begin to churn and mix together. Moments later we saw two bald eagles flying over Hunting Run Reservoir!

Our Story

Flying in an open-cockpit WWII biplane is an amazing experience you will never forget! Our Boeing Stearman PT-17 was actually used to train aviation cadets during WWII but has been completely restored and updated with the latest technology. It is meticulously maintained and regularly inspected to rigorous FAA standards.

Your pilot has flown over 25,000 hours and was a check-captain for a major US airline. He loves sharing his passion for aviation and especially introducing or reconnecting people to a golden era of flying and the sights and sounds of yesteryear few have experienced. Think of this as riding a motorcycle with wings!
