Did somebody say National Rollercoaster Day?! 🎢 Yes! The best type of ride there is!

😆 Oh my gosh yall! The excitement from the D23 announcements cannot be contained! Cars, Indy, Monsters Inc, Villains land, cruise ships, Avengers Campus rides all over, Lion King ride in Paris, Coco Ride at DCA, new lounges, a nighttime parade for MK, animatronic Walt and so many more!! I am so excited for the future! 👏🏻

The Villains Land is great but Monstropolis & the coaster is something I have been DREAMING of since I was a child and then if the Cars ride in Frontierland is going to be anything like Radiator Springs Racers I will bawl my eyes out as it is truly one of my all time favorite rides. Sunday ☀️ For some it’s a day a rest, others a day to get things done. Today my family is strategizing 🤔

In February, my mom & I are running the Run Disney Princess Half Marathon. This isn’t our first race but it will be the first time we’re bringing my brother to the event. We are partaking in the other events all weekend long but my spouse and kids always come to cheer us on at the finish line during the half. My brother is non-verbal ASD 🧩 so the challenge is getting him to the finish line with Stefano and our boys.

We are coming up with the best course of action. Run Disney transportation isn’t the that because they can’t sit 3 to a row. Skyliner doesn’t spit them out in an ideal area to get to the finish line. Driving is a good option but not preferred as G may think he’s leaving Disney without Mom. Boardwalk Inn isn’t a guaranteed race spectator spot for the half.

That leaves us with: Monorail 🚝 the best ideal scenario: Contemporary. First stop is the TTC and they switch to the Epcot monorail where they then are dropped off with short-ish walk to the finish line area of the race. G views this as a ride, they all get to sit together, and it’s an easy mode of transportation to the race.

I share this so that you can see I am not just certified with Autism Double Checked but I come with experience! I have been an advocate for my little brother his entire life & have been there helping him & my family navigate the parks/cruises every time we go ❤️
