Last sit before we head back and run some charters. It’s been great spending time with my wife and reconnecting with nature. I look forward to fishing with new and returning customers!

Incredible morning of hunting yesterday! My wife and I scouted property we’ve never hunted a month ago. Decided there was only place that was ideal with limited means of hunting. Set up ground blind evening before, hunted out of it then and decided to move it 45 yards 40 minutes before dark. Didn’t see anything but felt assured of better visibility the following morning. Reminds me of a sermon I heard many years ago…if you aren’t happy where you are, then move to where you are not. Y’all be safe this evening and have a blessed and meaningful 2025!

Fishing has been incredible for past 3 days. We’ve landed a couple nice fish to take home and lots of hard fighting throwbacks. Before today, we caught fish at every stop but one I was more leery about today being that it was a full moon. Honestly, I expected a few fish or maybe one or two big fish bites. Wound up catching a few here and there, goose egged next three stops, pressed on and found the mother load at last stop. Ran out of bait after allotted time expiring and still had a young lad catching fish on a bare hook! He claimed to have the first time, I witnessed the second, and then the third time! He’s definitely in the top 1% of catching fish 😀 All in all, I just have to say: Thank you, Lord! Not just for today, but everyday.

Since 1974, we’ve been answering a calling to serve. Today as Embrace Florida Kids, we’re a faith-based agency who is passionately focused on providing homes, healing and hope to vulnerable children who come from families in crisis, placed in foster care at no fault of their own.

Whew, glad we had options to get this crew out. It was nasty out in the bay but I stayed in my “back yard!” We saw the white caps but never broke a wave and caught fish! They booked direct and I’ll take out 5% to give to embraceflkids.org and embracealkids.org.
