Bollywood be like 6 month transformation (picture 1 to picture 4)

You would probably guess more experience in the gym means more gains, right?
-
This is the opposite from the truth. More experience with resistance training means the rate of progress slows down and muscle takes longer to build.

You can begin to see that with the gains made between picture 1 and 2, being triple (15kg gain) the gains made between picture 3 and 4 (5kg gain).

I can't tell you whether making X amount of muscle gain will take you 3 years or 10 years. That is never my aim or my intention with this post.

Your muscle gain and rate of progress depends on many factors including your genetics, training, nutrition, experience and ability to adhere to a programme. Also your natty status.

Whether it takes your 3 years or 10 I don't know, but one thing is for sure, it won't be achieved in 6 months or even 8 weeks like some internet transformations will suggest.

Be prepared for it to take some time. Muscle building is a marathon, not a sprint.

Also be prepared for the process to get a lot harder once you're out of the beginner gain phase.
For me at the stage and experience I'm at right now, I'll be lucky to get 1kg of lean muscle mass a year.
