Our Story
Custom Coastal Charters currently operates charters out of Roche Harbor Marina on beautiful San Juan Island WA. Roche Harbor is a 20 minute drive from were the Washington State ferry lands at Friday Harbor, which is the main town on San Juan Island. From mid May to the end of September we can be found in various locations on the inside passage of the B.C coast as well as the San Juan Islands and Canadian Gulf Islands. We plan our general locations of operation based on seasonal peaks of wildlife viewing and other guest preferences that will make your charter with us the trip of a lifetime. Our trips are best for two couples, a family or group of up to 6 friends. We book out 2 private rooms. Each has it's own private shower and bathroom. When we book more than 4 people the extra guests must be part of the main group booking the 2 private rooms. They sleep on the convertible beds In the pilot house and "fly bridge". which are very comfortable and semi-private. On board we have a dingy with 25 Hp motor for shore exploration, a double kayak and 2 single kayaks as well a 2 SUP boards for exploration, either on your own or with us as your guides.
YES we can accommodate and arrange customized “Day Tours” and evening “Sunset Cruises” for a larger number of guests on day tours for weddings, family get togethers, or corporate events. Call us for prices and details on times, possible itinerary's etc.
