San Juan Islands, Washington - Inspiration for the Senses
The San Juan Islands are a group of islands in the heart of Washington State's Salish Sea, nestled between three great cities: Seattle, Washington, Vancouver, B.C. and Victoria, B.C. The main three islands, Orcas Island, Lopez Island and Lopez Island all have their own feeling and features, from charming villages for shopping and restaurants, to pristine forests, beaches and bays, a National Historical Park, and Washington’s 4th largest State Park (Moran State Park), there is a lot to see and do in the San Juans.
Go hiking in quiet green forests, take a relaxing walk on a pebbled beach, slip a kayak into a serene bay at sunset, feel the excitement of seeing orca whales and other marine wildlife on a whale watching tour.
