The Bee has a Guardian Mermaid who watches over us as we sail the Salish Sea! She is named after the young woman who was my deckhand back in 17. Grace was great crew but she went traveling that winter, met a young man, fell in love, married him and now lives in England with Simon. This summer she came to the states for a friends wedding and stopped by to visit. She got to meet her namesake and stay for lunch with the usual suspects😊👍♥️

What a great day! Wonderful customers, seals, eagles, a cuddle of otters on Gossip Island, and right at the end, the T123’s lounging in front of the harbor. Best of all, Kat Martin was my deckhand. All of these photos are hers. She is a fabulous photographer and naturalist👍

First trip of the season! A sweet memorial for Robyn’s father. Robyn and her daughter Lena went out with me 4 years ago and Robyn reached out and scheduled this trip early in the winter. The weather was perfect and on the way home, a pod of Transient Orca crossed out bow. It was nice to connect friends from that past trip and to help them celebrate Robyn’s Dad.
