Convex shaping of the F-5 top is done. I’ll use this one for a pantograph pattern so I can get the other two close to this point in minutes instead of hours.
This one I drilled reference holes on topo lines and removed material with planes, scrapers, gouges, and sandpaper.

Starting the F5s by setting up my pantograph to rough out the mando plates. Also joining backs and tops.

This guitar has been on ice while I parent in a seemingly endless Covid world, but lately I have been finding some energy and time for it, I don’t really know why, perhaps I am just more desperate for a little slice of life outside of the family... I know many of you can relate.
