The Frisco Adventure Park is excited to announce the grand opening of a new mobile rope tow that will service the Frisco Railyard terrain park. On Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 10:00 am, the Frisco Adventure Park will host a ribbon cutting for the new rope tow. The ribbon cutting will be followed by a grand opening event located in the Railyard base area, which will feature music, vendors, and giveaways from 10:00 am-4:00 pm.

Now through December 22, 2024, season passes may be purchased online at a discounted rate using the code: FAP-TP-EARLYBIRD to receive $50 off at checkout.

On Saturday, December 7 from 8:30am-10:30am enjoy a pancake breakfast, holiday arts and crafts, and a visit and pictures with Santa at the Old Frisco Community Center located at 110 3rd Avenue in Frisco. Tickets are $10 per child and $20 per adult and benefit the Summit County Preschool.

Registration is open for the 11th Annual Frisco Turkey Day 5k, being held on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28, 2024, at 9:30 am. Frisco’s Turkey Day 5k, presented by The Steadman Clinic and Steadman Philippon Research Institute, is open to all ages and historically draws over 1,000 costume-clad participants. 🦃

Runners will enjoy a post race party at the finish line that will feature treats from Butterhorn Bakery and Cafe, mini pies from Saved by the Wine, coffee and cocoa, as well as a chance to win prizes! 🥧☕️

The Frisco Nordic Center’s anticipated opening day is November 28, Thanksgiving Day, dependent on snow conditions. In anticipation of the opening, the Frisco Nordic Center is hosting an open house and season pass party to preview the upcoming Nordic ski season on Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the Frisco Nordic Center lodge, located at 616 Recreation Way.
Frisco Nordic Center staff invite Nordic ski enthusiasts and those who are interested in the sport to enjoy free appetizers, beverages, and mingling with Nordic staff and fellow skiers. This event offers an opportunity to learn about the Nordic Center’s upcoming events, clinics, and programs, and to purchase a season pass for 2024/2025 season at early-bird prices.

The Town of Frisco will be hosting several events in celebration of Halloween on Thursday, October 31, 2024. Frisco’s traditional Trick-or-Treat Street returns to Frisco Main Street, and for the fourth year, will be joined by the Summit County Animal Shelter Halloween Dog Parade. Trick-or-Treat Street will take place on Main Street from Madison Avenue to 7th Avenue from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and the Halloween Dog Parade will start at 5:00 pm in the Frisco Historic Park and end at 7th Avenue. Frisco Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic from 7th Avenue to Madison Avenue from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm to accommodate these community Halloween festivities.
