The Great Ocean road was definitely a highlight of our recent visit to Australia. Second only to the time with this incredible group of travel advisors. Not only was this a very impressive and smart group, but some of the nicest folks you could ask for as travel companions.

Fun fact: did you know that the 2023 Olympics will be in Brisbane? It is going to be fabulous!!! This is such a cool spot . Great vibe, great pedestrian setup, fun water transport on the river and trams, tons of wonderful restaurants, the weather is great, and lovely day trip options nearby. Love it here!!

Yesterday we had a fabulous day tour out of Brisbane. We walked the skywalk through the forest at Tambourine Mountain, then had a wine and cheese tasting at Witches winery, admired the beautiful Mountain Views and then a gorgeous and very delicious lunch up in the mountains at Verandah House. We are just LOVING our time in Brisbane and the area!!

First day in Brisbane. We had such a nice lunch right on the water at Mr Percival’s and then dinner at El Greco. Dining al fresco because the weather could not be more perfect. Our hotel, the Crystalbrook Vincent ,could not be lovelier and the location is a stunner. Can’t wait for tomorrow’s adventures!! Thank you, HBX, Hotel Cystalbrook, United Airlines and Nexion for hosting us!

This guy was part of the welcome committee at our coffee this morning. Apparently they are everywhere, but for our morning walk crew, this was our first time seeing an Australian Ibis out and about! Ps the coffee here and food is fantastic. Shopping is excellent as well!

Oh the WINES in South Africa were so wonderful!!! I highly recommend visiting the absolutely gorgeous winelands in South Africa if you are in the area! The food, the wines, the lodging… all are absolutely amazing!!!

Good night from the lake!!!

I love receiving notes like this one! African Safari vacations can be complex and you really want all of those details buttoned up. I am so glad we could help here this sweet couple have their "trip of a lifetime"! Wow!!!!! What a trip! It exceeded our expectations by far and I had high hopes already. The accommodations were outstanding. Top of the line gorgeous hotels and incredible glamping. The food was delicious. Buffets as well as five star dining plus the surprise lunches at gorgeous locations along the way. We had Incredible scenery with the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. I've saved the best for last. Oh my goodness, the animals! We saw all of the Big Five, just what we were hoping for. Hundreds of animals that we saw each day- some around every corner. Lions every day! From cute gazelles to elephant families and giraffes. We even saw some of the great migration! This was truly the trip of a lifetime and I would go back in a heartbeat. Worth every penny. I brought things home that remind me of our wonderful journey. I also have what seems like a million great photos.Every detail was taken care of. We had the best guide ever. I can't thank you enough for setting us up for such a great adventure!

On a river cruise, the lounge is the heart of the ship. Each river cruise line has its own look and feel, and with most lines, you will also see differences ship to ship, and also on different rivers. This is the main lounge on the Avalon Envision. She really is a beautiful river cruise ship. I was so pleasantly surprised! And THAT is one of the reasons I am here at the #astarivercruiseexpo . All the training and meetings in the world are not quite the same as seeing with your own eyes and experiencing for yourself. Today, we have a big general session, classes, and more ship inspections. Added bonus, our lunches and dinners are all onboard a rotation of beautiful river cruise ships!
