Get that creativity flowing and ideas on deck to prep your floats and participation for all things that sparkle this holiday season! Join us December 7th, with all the fancy diamonds, tinsel, lights and sparkle you can muster…..and let’s make this years Christmas season “A Sparkling Jubilee” for all to enjoy!

The date has been set! The live nativity will be back at the Veteran’s Park Amphitheater December 9th from 6-8pm. There will be readings every half hour and hot chocolate and cookies served!

Join us for an evening of honoring the reason for the season.

The 1st Annual Courthouse social was so much fun, what a great addition to the days festivities. Loved seeing all the children’s faces of joy, sharing of cookies, hot cocoa, crafts and of course the most special visit from Santa and Mrs. Clause.

We want to send a special thank you to the volunteers who assisted the kids in all the activities.

So much holiday cheer today at the 74th Annual Christmas Parade and 1st Annual Courthouse Social. Thank you to the community for truly making everyone believe we absolutely are Missouri’s Christmas City for showing up like you always do! Such a different holiday post from the norm, but we believe this is important and there are many puff uses left on this and we know that can be expensive to replace… if you were in the parade on a float today and tossing candy, and accidentally tossed your inhaler, bystanders saw it and picked it up and turned it in to organizers…they were unsure what float it came from but watched it happen…if this is yours we’d love to get it back to you: please message us and we'd be happy to get this back to you.

Just a reminder that the lighted Christmas parade is tonight at 7 PM. The route is memorial park north on Nichols south on court street back to Memorial Park then through the city park. If you’re driving by and you like what you see, give us a honk or a merry Christmas

Congratulations to the first ever Junior Grand Marshall. Keeping with the theme of education, Fulton educators were asked to nominate a student making a difference in our community and an overwhelming amount of support for Christian was observed! Missouri’s Christmas City honors you Christian and can not wait to see what your future holds!

Friday is the lighted Christmas Parade starting at Memorial Park at 7 PM. The parade will travel north on Nichols to William Woods Campus. The vehicles will then head south on Court Street and then after they get to 2nd and Court… who knows where the Christmas magic will guide them! Look for the lighted vehicles Friday evening in Fulton!!

This year, we celebrate Education! Missouri's Christmas City-Fulton is proud to announce this year's Grand Marshall's. Mrs. Sharlyn Cooper & Mrs. Maryann Echelmeier, legendary educators with Fulton Public Schools! We will always honor them for their dedication & commitment to so many students throughout their careers!

Make sure to stay after the parade (5th street, between the Callaway Bank and Courthouse will remain closed) for the Courthouse Social… which will include ornaments decorating for the kids, a theatrical courthouse lighting and a free ride on the Polar Express to the North Pole to see Santa and Mrs. Clause

It's always a joy to see this tradition continue!

The Christmas tree stands 45 feet tall, has a 30 foot diameter base, and contains approximately 1,700 LED (50 strands) lights streaming upward to create its look. A ten-foot-tall star tops the Christmas tree and will be lit every evening from 4:30 p.m. until midnight until New Year's Day.

This holiday tradition began in 2019 due to the fact that many of the decades-old Christmas lights that hung from light poles on city streets developed safety issues, rendering them unusable.

As always, we thank our team for taking the time to put up the tree for everyone's enjoyment.
