Oak Hall Summer & Auxiliary Programs The Oak Hall Summer Camp provides a wide range of new experiences and opportunities for campers!

The Oak Hall Summer Program seeks to provide opportunities for campers to experience a wide range of new physical and creative activities. Campers will have the opportunity to be teamed with other campers of their own age who have similar interests and abilities so that everyone has the chance to make many new friends and create happy memories. At the Oak Hall Summer Program, each camper will be offered a wholesome and positive experience designed to improve skills and confidence.

Wow. Some things never get old. 💎I spent time with these girls making jewelry, and I was instantly reminded of the joy it brought me as a child. I remembered the first time I made my own bracelet. It had pink and yellow beads with a bejeweled butterfly on it.🦋 Throughout my childhood, I made way too many bracelets to count. I was always so excited to show off my handmade jewelry. I even put on mini fashion shows in my living room. There's simply something special about taking the time to create a beautiful accessory that will forever represent your passion, creativity, and personality. Maybe one day, they'll reflect on their time at camp making jewelry and remember how much fun they had with their friends. How many laughs they shared and how excited they were to go home and show their parents.. We truly enjoyed our trip to the @jax zoo yesterday. It rained a bit, but that didn't stop us from having a good time. Our campers saw lions, tigers, and bears that just left them saying, "Oh my." 🦁🐅🐻Some of their favorite animals include the tigers, giraffes, stingrays, and of course, our beloved mascot, the bald eagle. 🦅🤔 What are some of your favorite animals?

Today we’re bound for the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens with 63 campers and 13 counselors. 🚌 Field trips are not for the faint of heart, but with careful planning, adequate staffing, and a spirit of adventure, everyone can safely have fun. 🚨Stay tuned for more updates🚨

Happy International Video Game Day. 🎮Today, there are more than five million video games. Video games and programming have come a long way since the 1950s.Today, Minecraft is the most popular and most played game in the world and we recently dedicated a camp to it called Minecraft: Code Adventures. Thanks to @flemingtechcamps, our campers mastered Minecraft Code Builder and used Loops, Booleans, and Algorithms to have a fun code-based adventure. They learned:▪️ About programming and how coding can be used to solve puzzles and complex problems▪️To design and build game features with code blocks▪️ How to use drag and drop tools within Code Builder▪️ Basic principles of coding with block-based programming tools▪️ Drag and drop tools to design and program projects..................P.S.
