North American Permaculture Association

The North American Permaculture Association was established in 2013 by a small group of permaculture designers, educators, and community garden activists to provide an international organization, with focus in the North American continent, for networking, information exchange, bioregional organization, and inter-community communication. We also promote the spread of permaculture design and impleme

ntation, as well as education, as the solution for rapid rehabilitation and regeneration of the earths environment from its present day rapidly increasing degraded state. We embrace a philosophy of community interdependence, bottom-up organizing, hyper-local grassroots direct action, strategic decentralized social networking, universal solidarity, self-reliance, simple living, ecologically sustainable & regenerative small scale agricultural practices, biodiversity, and permaculture design as a means for creating a meaningful and abundant livelihood for all species that inhabit earth.
