Located just outside Branson, MO where the James River and Table Rock Lake meet, Riverfront Retreat of the Ozarks is the perfect 22-acre getaway for families or large groups desiring a unique lodging experience. This former lodge/campground is now privately owned and the entire property is available for rent. The main building (the former lodge/hotel) has over 5,300 square feet with a large kitche

n and gathering area on the main floor and 10 individual units (each with bed/beds and its own bathroom) on the top floor. The second building contains four individual cabins facing the river for a peaceful view of the water. The property sits on almost one mile of riverfront - just step outside to go swimming, fishing, or kayaking on your private shoreline! A 2,400 square foot outdoor pavilion provides a covered place to gather outside. There is plenty of room for camping along the shoreline for those wanting to enjoy the river both day and night! Riverfront Retreat of the Ozarks offers a unique opportunity - it truly is the only one of its kind! In addition, the Riverfront Retreat of the Ozarks will host events at the property to share the fishing, canoeing/kayaking, and camping experience with everyone. When there is a heavy rain, it is interesting to see the difference in the two bodies of water as they meet. The water in Railey Creek mainly comes from a natural spring and the water in the James River ends its 99-mile journey here where it officially turns into Table Rock Lake. You can see the calm, blue water of the creek meet the murky, debris-filled water of the river.

We always enjoy seeing the shape of the river at the end of winter/beginning of spring. After the spring rains come and the river rises and then recedes, this area will look considerably different than it does now.
