Twisted Vine Winery **The wine was simply delicious and we hope to come back when the winery is open for the season**. Star Pullins with Little Dipper Kitchen **My husband went on and on about the cookies and he must know where to order some**.

I am blessed to know some very talented people in our area and love displaying their work here at Creekside. Thank you, Carita Smith Montgomery with Montgomery Mountain Creation for the adorable ice skating snowman, Tammi Davison for the cutest snowmen welcoming everyone to the coffee bar, and TNT Treasures for the beautiful handcrafted wooden tree.

One thing I have found that I love about short term rentals is the people that I meet and the input they give you by giving you suggestions on things or just simply letting you know how they have enjoyed their stay.

Before I started this adventure, I never realized how much thought went into making everyone's stay the best that it could possibly be from decorations, supplies, and everything in between.

Creekside's last guest left us the most amazing review and yes, I cried.

Absolutely Lovely!
When I entered the front door, I was amazed. Not only was this home beautiful, it was also decorated throughout with Christmas decorations! This home is tastefully decorated, and we all felt right at home. The kitchen was the most well-equipped I have ever experienced. Each bedroom, bathroom, and living room was beautifully decorated. The laundry room was even decorated with touches of Christmas! It’s quite evident that a lot of thought, time, and effort have gone into this lovely home. If I’m ever in this area, I hope I’m lucky enough to stay here again. The host, Miss Kelly, promptly answered any questions I had. She’s extremely friendly, and happy to help at any time. I have booked several homes, and this one was, by far, the BEST!

Our beautiful Hallmark town is gearing up for Gallipolis In Lights. Gallipolis was voted the Merriest Main Street by the Today Show in 2022. Creekside still has a few openings for December for you to come and experience this amazing Christmas display. November 22, 2023 - January 1, 2024.

We have been up and running for 3 months and myself, being new to the Airbnb world, was scared that I was fumbling my way through. However, Creekside received some fantastic news today! WOW, to say we are thrilled is an understatement!

Creekside is set up and ready for her weekend guests. These guests in addition to getting their wonderful treats from Twisted Vine Family Vineyard and Little Dipper Kitchen are getting red roses they are celebrating their 50 th wedding anniversary! I am honored to host them on such a special occasion!

Creekside had an unexpected cancelation during the 52nd annual Bob Evans Farm Festival. If you are coming to town and looking for a peaceful place to stay Creekside is the place for you! We are located just 25 minutes from all of the fun and activities of the weekend.

Bob Evans was a real farmer, and his farm is a real place in Rio Grande, Ohio. And starting in 1971, Bob Evans has celebrated America's farmers down on the farm with the annual Farm Festival. This year, they celebrate their 52nd Farm Festival with a wide range of entertainment, one-of-a-kind handmade arts and crafts, farm contests, delicious local food, and much more!

Along with the great food, the Farm Festival features crafts from artisans from around the country and incredible music, live demonstrations and family-friendly amusements.

Creekside has something for everyone. Look at these amazing m&m chocolate chip cookies that Star Pullins with Little Dipper Kitchen made for tomorrow’s guest. Of course you can’t forget about the adults with a delicious bottle of wine from Twisted Vine Family Vineyard. Let’s talk kids.. the front of the house has a spacious flat yard with this wonderful swing set. Creekside has several indoor game options for those rainy days and a wide variety of outdoor games for all ages.

As I was getting Creekside ready for this weekend guests I was looking back at my house journal! I am so glad I started this, with life most of the time being virtual and online I love this personal touch. I have left all my guest a little personal message and the best part they have all returned the messages.

The guest also really enjoy Little Dipper Kitchen bunt cakes , Twisted Vine Family Vineyard bottle of wine and the squirrels love that they are still feed when I am not there. 🍰 🍷 🐿️

Let's talk about Creekside's laundry room! "The best days end in dirty laundry."

While I was washing towels yesterday for our upcoming guests the unthinkable happened in the hospitality business. The dryer's heating element went out. I was lucky enough to get in contact with Little John's appliance repair and was even more fortunate that he would be in my area and could work it in (maybe from the panic in my voice). The dryer is repaired and ready for tomorrow.

Look how wonderful this laundry room is a now functioning washer and dryer, a built-in ironing board, and a place to sit and hang all of your laundry while you are working on it.

I am in love with this reading nook here at Creekside. It is so peaceful and the view is absolutely beautiful. Can you imagine snuggling up in a nice fluffy blanket, sitting in one of these extremely comfortable chairs, your beverage of choice, reading a book, and taking in these wonderful views?

The Ohio River is a little over two miles from Creekside’s dock. While renters where enjoying the house we took some time to enjoy the creek. This was my first boat ride on the Mighty Ohio River.
