Smoke is getting her pedicure today. It’s fascinating when you understand the importance of what happens when the farrier trims the foot to put new shoes on. The horse will lick and chew, meaning that the horse is relaxing and releasing endorphins. It is the same thing when people go to get pedicures, afterwards they are relaxed and calm. We make sure our babies get this done every 5 to 6 weeks.

Thank you to Little Eagles Child Center for having us. They had western week at their school and invited us to come out and share. We love sharing the importance of how we take care of our babies. The kids and teachers loved the horses and everyone had a blast.

We started the day off right yesterday. Our babies got their chiropractic work done and they feel great after the spa day. 😁 A huge thank you to Cody and Tonya for coming out and helping with our horses joint/muscle health.

Happy Mardi Gras!! We hope everyone has a safe and fun time during the celebrations but due to the Mardi Gras festivities for the next 2 weeks, we have decided to try and run Monday through Thursday only. We will evaluate each day before operating our historical carriage tours during the daytime only.

Before we head downtown this evening, Boogie and the other babies are having a spa afternoon with the PEMF machine. It’s a therapeutic device which helps with blood flow in their shoulders and hips. We make sure our babies get their pedicures and spa days frequently.
