🎆🎇July 4th fireworks in Galveston and all the details you need! 🎆🎇
We’re ready for another fun and safe Independence Day celebration on Galveston Island!
With the beach as the backdrop, there is no better place to celebrate Independence Day and summer with a parade and fireworks show.
The annual 4th of July Seawall parade will kick off on Thursday, July 4 at 6 p.m. with fireworks to follow at approximately 9:15 p.m. from the 37th Street and Seawall jetty. The parade is sponsored by the Galveston Firefighters Children’s Parade Krewe and will feature a wide array of floats. The parade line-up and route will start at 22nd Street and Seawall Blvd. It will proceed west and end at 45th and Seawall.
Traffic on Seawall Blvd will be detoured northbound at 19th Street and northbound at 53rd Street from Seawall. Seawall Blvd will reopen as the final elements of the parade pass westbound.
The following lane closures for the parade will begin at 4:30 p.m. and reopen at 8:30 p.m.

• Seawall (19th to 22nd Street) Line-up Area
• Seawall Blvd from 22nd to 53rd Street Parade Route
The City of Galveston is excited to sponsor this year’s fireworks show. This is the second year the City of Galveston has hosted the fireworks display and we’ve worked closely with the company to fine-tune the event.
The fireworks display will follow the parade, beginning at approximately 9:15 p.m. from 37th Street and Seawall. The fireworks display will be broadcast online with accompanying music. To listen to the fireworks music, download the free app Pyrocast and enter code 8JUV to access Galveston’s show. Through this app, you will hear announcements about the start of the show and the accompanying music.
