We thoroughly enjoyed our coastal town visit to historic Georgetown (reminds me of Franklin Tennessee) with a wharf walk and a marsh. We checked out a cute boutique hotel called The George and walked through multiple unique stores (thank you to Jason and Kristie Radford for taking us here- we are definitely going back). We toured my brothers new rental home in Pawleys Island, which is a stunning oceanfront home. We then met some of Jeff’s retired MPDC friends at a cool restaurant called Dead Dog Saloon (memories of dogs who have crossed the rainbow are hanging on the walls and are visible in our picture). We drove around Murrells Inlet and some of Myrtle Beach. Our last stop on the Coastal tour was Pawley’s Hammock shops which are pretty cool and we took some colorful flowers photos too. On to Georgia next!

Our bucket list RV trip has commenced! Our first big stop was Mt Pleasant, SC where we visited family, attended a soccer game at Patriots Point and then enjoyed dinner at Ty’s Roadside. We then toured downtown Charleston and enjoyed a Carriage tour around this historic city (a must do in Charleston). We walked through the city market, attempted to see the eclipse, learned about hurricane bolts built into the architecture of old buildings and about why houses are painted a coastal blue called “haint paint” that’s supposed to ward off evil spirits. Also, caught a glimpse of Carnival in port. Next up are the coastal SC points of interest.

Our family enjoyed a busy week at Disney World & Universal Studios. The Southwest pilot was so great with the kids. It was great seeing the park thrills through Children’s eyes. The 5 kids (4 months to 11 yrs) were troopers and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We experienced Genie+ & Lightning ($) passes at Disney and the Unlimited Express Pass at Universal (the best way to enjoy the most attractions).

It was so much fun but you need a vacation after that vacation!

A Disney cruise is a great experience for your entire family. Our group of 18 is having a wonderful time with all the characters, princesses, shows, and activities on the Disney Fantasy. The food has been great, service outstanding as expected with Disney, plus the opportunity to see Disney entertainment live is exceptional. Does it tend to price higher than some of the other mainstream cruise lines, yes, but it’s comparable to a week at Disney (all in tickets, hotel, food). It’s definitely a priceless value for the smiles we’ve witnessed on all the kids faces.

There is invaluable experience gained through first hand knowledge and it’s really fun when family, friends and fellow Dream Vacations franchise owners join you on your adventures.

This trip’s firsts include a pre- night stay @ Disney’s All Star Movies, lunch at T-Rex in Disney Springs, and then a 7 night cruise on the Disney Fantasy.
