A special morning for a special man. Rudy Malnati was the air show boss for the Chicago Air & Water show for decades, and we had the pleasure to work with him for so many years. He lost his battle to cancer last December and the city honored him with a special street name outside his original Pizano’s Reataurant on State St. We’ll miss you forever, Rudy!

At Gary Jet Center, safety is our top priority, and personal responsibility is at the core of that. We are proud to announce that 100% of our employees have been trained and are certified through the American Heart Association on CPR, AED use and First Aid. Additionally, we are installing AEDs throughout our hangars and facilities to maintain our safety standards for our employees and guests. We certainly hope to never have to use our training, but we’re proud to be Rescue Ready.
